The planetary rotation mixer 1 includes: the vessel 4 arranged within the internal space 3 of the casing 2 and storing the substance to be mixed; a revolution mechanism 5 for rotating and driving the vessel 4 around an axis of revolution X; and a rotation mechanism 6 for rotating and driving the vessel 4 around an axis of rotation Y. The planetary rotation mixer 1 includes a microwave irradiation means 50 of applying microwaves to the vessel 4. A microwave absorption material 51 for absorbing microwaves is disposed at a part 4b capable of transferring heat to the substance in the vessel 4.
