PURPOSE: To provide the titled original plate excellent in fixing property of a toner, damping property and the like, by a method wherein an anchor coat layer consisting of a specified resin, an ink-repelling layer consisting of a specified silicone resin and an orientated layer of a fluorine-containing surface active compound are provided on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A resin which is compatible with a toner image layer 5 or a resin which has an active group reactive with the layer 5 is admixed into a solvent, and the resulting material is applied onto a substrate 1 to produce an anchor coat layer having a thickness of not smaller than 0.1μm. A silicone resin containing 0.1W10wt% of a fluorine-containing surface active compound 3' of the formula Rf-SO3-Y (wherein Rf is a 3W12C fluorinated aliphatic group; Y is a hydrophilic group having a nitrogen-containing connecting part) mixed therein is admixed into a solvent, and the resulting material is applied onto the anchor coat layer and is hardened by drying to produce the ink-repelling layer 3, followed by producing the orientated surface layer 4 of the fluorine-containing surface active layer to obtain the objective original plate.
