Abstract:

To provide a plant control device capable of achieving a satisfactory transient response characteristics while satisfying the limitations.

The plant control device includes: a feedback controller (FBC) that determines the control input of a plant in a manner of feedback control so that the output value of a control amount in the plant get closer to a target value; and a reference governor (RG) that calculates a future estimation value of a specific state amount in the plant by using a model of a closed loop system including the plant and the FBC to correct the target value to be given to the FBC based on the estimation value and limitations given to the specific state amount. In particular, the RG searches an optimal value of an evaluation function represented by a sum of an objective function which results in the smaller value when the distance between the target value having correction target value candidates as variables and the correction target value candidates is the smaller and an objective function which results in the smaller value when the distance between the target value and the estimation value is the smaller using estimation value as a variable and determines the correction target value candidate for optimizing the evaluation function as a correction target value.
