Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth promoter and a fertilizer containing the promoter.SOLUTION: A plant growth promoter of the present invention contains chelate-forming component derived from plant olive, which is preferably obtained by using xylem fluid of plant olive or extract from olive leaves or olive fruits. A fertilizer of the present invention contains the plant growth promoter, and preferably contains components having high nutritive values together with the promoter. By using the plant growth promoter or the fertilizer for alkali soil containing much water-insoluble iron component, for example, an iron complex with a chelate-forming component can be formed, so that plant roots are allowed to absorb the iron complex, and growth of the plant can be promoted.SELECTED DRAWING: None
