Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new DNA capable of providing a plant having a varied flower, useful for neutralizing ribonuclease activity, containing a fertility recovering DNA coding for a ribonuclease control factor and a promoter for inducing manifestation by a plant cell.
SOLUTION: This new recombinant DNA contains (A) a fertility recovering DNA having a nucleotide sequence of the formula coding for a protein as a ribonuclease control factor and (B) a first promoter for inducing manifestation by a plant cell, is useful for neutralizing ribonuclease activity in a plant cell, exists in the same transcription unit as that of the component A and the component B and is under the control of the transcription. A starting cell of a plant is transformed by the recombinant DNA, a transgenic plant is reproduced from the transformant cell and its cell or plant proliferation material can be produced.
