To provide a plant monitoring operation device for performing the monitoring operation of a plant by using a man-machine interface process to process a predetermined task given priority over another task.
This plant monitoring operation device is provided with a screen display unit having a touch screen at its the front part of the display screen and in the device, a man-machine interface process for performing the monitor operation of the plant is installed. The man-machine interface process is provided with a plurality of task ready queues attached with priority and a timer management part which registers a touch operation processing task to process information inputted via the touch screen in the task ready queue whose priority is higher than the priority of the task ready queue where the screen display processing task to perform display processing is registered on the display screen.
