Abstract:
PURPOSE: A safe and effective plant protectant against viral diseases comprising an N-acyltauride as an active constituent.
CONSTITUTION: A protectant comprising an N-acyltauride of formula I: (R1 is ≥7C alkyl or alkenyl group; R2 is H or alkyl group; M is cation), e.g. a compound of formula II, as an active constituent. The protectant is usable in the form of wettable powder, powder, emulsion or extract, effective against mosaic and dwarf of tobaccos, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, and water melon.
