PURPOSE: To reduce a fear of interference of seedlings right after planting.
CONSTITUTION: In a planting mechanism for a rice transplanter equipped with a pocket space (a) at the lateral outside of a case supporting shaft 11, a pair of planting pawl supporting cases 10 are held on both ends of a rotary case 8 relatively rotatably around a horizontal shaft center through the case supporting cases 11 and the case supporting shafts 11 are connected to the planting pawl supporting cases 10 rotatably in an integrated way. The rotary case 8 and the case supporting shafts 11 are constituted to relatively rotate by relatively revolving mechanism K. Laterally facing supporting shafts 21 of a rotary cam 19 for pushing out seedlings are relatively rotatably held on each planting pawl supporting case 10. The extended ends of both the laterally facing supporting shafts 21 are linked and fixed through a connecting tool 23 having formed a crank part 23a bending along the revolution direction of the rotary case 8 to take a long way around the pocket space (a).
