Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PALC (plasma address liquid crystal display device) provided with a dielectric layer having sufficient strength without lowering a numerical aperture and manufacture of its dielectric layer.
SOLUTION: This device 10 is provided with a dielectric 25 having a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface and a conduotor 42 between the first surface and the second surface, and forming a spacial area 26 together with a substrate 23, plural partitions 24 and the second surface. A conductive first area 41 is formed on the second surface of the dielectric 25 formed with the special area 26. The first area 41 is connected electrically with the conductor 42 between the first surface and the second surface. The conductor 42 between the first surface and the second surface is placed on one among plural partitions 24.
