Abstract:

To provide a new plasma arc welding method and a plasma arc welding device by which a stable penetration bead of a constant height can be reliably obtained when performing keyhole welding.

A welding voltage outputted when performing welding is detected, and the frequency of the welding voltage is controlled so as to substantially match the natural frequency of a weld pool P. This configuration enables the frequency of the weld pool P to be easily controlled so as to match such natural frequency and as a result, when performing keyhole welding, the stable penetration bead of the constant height can be reliably obtained.
