PURPOSE: To efficiently collect plasma and to suppress the rising in hematocrit, by providing a blood storage part between the blood lines connecting a plasma separator and a blood collecting/returning double pump and connecting the blood line from the blood outlet of the plasma separator to the blood storage part.
CONSTITUTION: When blood is returned, the blood stored in a blood storage part 14 is passed through a plasma separator 17 by a recirculation pump 16 through a line 15. In the plasma separator 17, only plasma is transmitted through the pores of a plasma separation membrane to be separated and passed through a line 19 by a plasma collecting pump 21 to be stored in a plasma storage tank 20. The blood from which a part of plasma is collected successively passes through a line 18 and the blood storage part 14 and returns to a puncture needle part 11 by a blood collecting/returning double blood pump 13 through a line 12. Since blood having extremely high hemotocrit (Ht value) after the collection of plasma is preferentially returned at the return time of blood, the blood having the high Ht value does not enter the plasma separator at the return time of blood and pressure does not rise suddenly.
