CONSTITUTION: Plasma is separated from the blood collected from a puncture needle part and a definite amount of the blood having a high Ht value from which plasma is separated is stored in a blood storage part. When blood is returned, the blood in the third blood storage part 24 returns to the body and the blood stored in the first blood storage part 14 is passed through a plasma separator 17 by a recirculation pump 16 to collect plasma. The blood having a high Ht value from which plasma is collected is returned to the body while mixed with the blood in the third blood storage part 24. When the return of blood is started, a predetermined amount of the blood in the second blood storage part 22 is transferred to the first blood storage part through the bypass line 23 provided between the first blood storage part and the second blood storage part to continuously perform blood collecting operation.
