Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate resistance for generating a pilot arc by respectively/ separately arranging a secondary winding net work to generate a pilot arc between an electrode/a nozzle and a secondary winding network to generate a plasma arc between an electrode/a work.
SOLUTION: A work 30 is worked by a plasma torch 10. When closing a switch W1, a first secondary circuit means 100 generates voltage between an electrode 12 and a nozzle 20 of the plasma torch 10. The first secondary circuit means 100 generates a pilot arc between the electrode 12 and the nozzle 20 and maintains the arc. When the work 30 is moved near the torch 10, shunts 130, 132 detect the work, a switch SW1 is opened, energy is given to a second circuit means 200. A voltage of the second circuit means 200 is applied to the work 30, the pilot arc is moved to the work 30.
