A front film type sheet 3 is laterally curved and arranged having its curved convex side in the front of a PDP (plasma display panel) 1. The front film type sheet 3 is positioned between an external frame body 4 and the PDP 2 and when the external frame body 4 is fixed to an unillustrated frame main body with, for example, screws, the external frame body 4 presses the circumferential edge of the front film type sheet 3. This pressing arranges the front film type sheet 3 flatly on the surface of the PDP 2 in contact without any adhesive.
