An image signal processing circuit 41 includes: a sequential write processing circuit 51 having a sequential write array 61 for sequentially arraying write image data, a first pre-conversion power estimation unit 62 and a first data power conversion unit 63; a jump write processing circuit 52 having a jump write array 71 for arraying a jump write image data, a second pre-conversion power estimation unit 72 and a second data power conversion unit 73; and a temperature estimating circuit 59 having a minimum value selection unit 88 for selecting a smaller output from the outputs of the first pre-conversion power estimation unit 62 and the second pre-conversion power estimation unit 72, and an accumulation unit 89 for accumulating the outputs of the minimum value selection unit 88. The image signal processing circuit 41 determines the number of specified sub-fields converted by the first data power conversion unit 63 and the second data power conversion unit 73 based on the output of the accumulation unit 89.
