Abstract:
To provide at a low cost a plasma display panel which uses a low-cost phosphor material suppressing deterioration of luminance and luminous efficiency and maintains image display quality by preventing deterioration of luminance.
The plasma display panel has a plurality of discharge cells of one color or a plurality of colors arranged and phosphor layers of a color corresponding to the discharge cells. The phosphor layers emit light by being excited by ultraviolet rays, and at least one phosphor layer out of the phosphor layers has a composition: (Y, Gd)0.95BO3:Eu0.05, and its average particle size is 0.8-1.3 μm.
