Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a service life of a nozzle by protecting the nozzle from dross generated by piercing performed at the time of starting cutting and preventing double arcs.
CONSTITUTION: The plasma torch is constituted by interposing an insulator 14 which is insulated electrically from the nozzle 2 to constitute a secondary gas path 8 on the outside of a nozzle cap 4, fixed and constituted of an electrical insulating material in the secondary gas path 8.
