Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a plaster excellent in adhesivity by locating a primer layer between a filmy support and a water-containing adhesive layer.
CONSTITUTION: A primer layer comprising the copolymer of a radically polymerizable monoethylenic unsaturated mono or dicarboxylic acid with an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester is disposed between a filmy support and a water- containing adhesive layer disposed on one side of the filmy support. The filmy support is preferably a flexible film capable of imparting a self-supporting property to the plaster and preventing the evaporation and migration of a medicine in the adhesive layer, and includes a 40-200μm thick ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer film. The watercontaining adhesive layer is formed from e.g. a polyacrylic acid salt, glycerol, water, aluminum hydroxide, etc. Since skin irritativity is improved by the use of the water-containing adhesive, medicines can be added to the adhesive layer and used as a medical cure plaster for various purposes.
