To provide a cap which is covered on a sealing material such as a rubber stopper and a rubber sheet for sealing tightly an opening part of a container for medical supplies to stick tightly the sealing material on the container main body and to hold strongly a fixed condition for a long time to guarantee the quality of the medical supplies and a method for preparing efficiently the cap.
A cap 1 consists of a trunk part covering the opening part and a sealing material of a container and a top board 13 positioned on the top part of the top wall 9 and the trunk part has a projection or a wedge-shaped part which can be hooked to an annular projection on the outer periphery of the opening of the container on the inner wall face and an opened window part 11 is provided on the central part of the top wall 9 and the outer edge of the window part and the underside of the top board 13 are connected with each other by forming a plurality of bridge parts 12 and 12'. The top board 13 has a wider area than at least that of the window part 11 and covers it and the top wall 9 and when medical supplies are used, by applying a force in a specified direction on the top board 13, the bridge parts 12 and 12' are broken to be able to peel off the top board 13.
