Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the plastic substrate for a liquid crystal display device which can be controlled in the curling amt. and size of the substrate and has high rigidity and surface hardness and excellent chemical resistance.

CONSTITUTION: This plastic substrate for the liquid crystal display device consists of a composite film formed by laminating ≥2 kinds of high-polymer resin layers. At least one layer of the composite film of such plastic film substrate for the liquid crystal display device are layers exhibiting hygroscopic expandability by the amt. of the moisture contained therein.
