To provide a plastic forming method and its apparatus capable of processing a same forming article as in the case where a higher quality of a processing material is used even if a lower quality of the processing material is used by reducing an impulse as little as possible caused by the plastic forming apparatus to lower costs of the finished product, and to use the plastic processing forming apparatus and the press machine for longer life.

The plastic forming apparatus comprising a punch 2, a blank holder 4 provided with free hoisting supported by pressing apparatus inserted at the outer side by the punch and a die 6 to hoist placed and opposed to the punch, and a thin plate 24 is mounted on the blank holder which advances with the pressing device, and in the plastic forming method which processes plastically the thin plate with the punch, sandwiching the thin plate with the blank holder and the die after the die descends, the plastic forming method is provided with the buffering means so that the die confronts to the thin plate on the blank holder after the blank holder runs up.
