To provide a plastic heddle which allows a spacial structure to be simply formed by injection molding and the warp to linearly pass therethrough, and which can dramatically reduce wear damage of the warp, and method for manufacturing the same.
Engaging parts 11a are each provided to both ends 11, 11 of a heddle body 1. A thread insertion part 2 with a predetermined length is formed in the center part of the heddle body 1, and inclined in a longitudinal direction with the thickness thereof gradually increased from the end to the center. The inclined surface is also inclined to a side edge on one side. Both adjacent inclined surfaces of the thread insertion part 2 in the heddle body 1 form a square cross section so as to create a parallel surface space. A pair of bridging shafts 21, 21 connecting the upper and lower parts are provided to a substantially central part of the thread insertion part 2. A warp Y forms a mail 22 insertable between the bridging shafts 21, 21.
