Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plastic lens have high quality, to improve its productivity and to improve the performance of the lens by preventing the adverse effect to the lens caused by the cut of a gate.
SOLUTION: In the plastic lens 1 in which a lens frame 2 having a cylindrical part 1b about an optical axis 01 is integrally formed around a lens surface 1a; a part, corresponding to a position on which a gate 3 is formed at the time of forming the cylindrical part 1b, is located on the same virtual extending surface 1d of the cylindrical part 1b or closer to the inner peripheral side than the virtual extending surface 1d and is made to be a convex surface 1c in the same direction as that of the virtual extending surface 1d.
