Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain titled material of quick optical response free from any deterioration, by homogeneously blending a transparent plastic with dimming glass powder each having the same or similar refractive index.
CONSTITUTION: The objective material can be obtained by homogeneously blending (A) 5W100(10W50)pts.wt. of a dimming glass powder with (B) 100pts.wt. of a transparent plastic with refractive index whose difference from that of the component (A) should be <0.01. Preferably, said glass powder has been treated with silane coupling agent, etc. beforehand, having a size ≤0.5mm.
