PURPOSE: To produce a plastic molded product by a simple apparatus without increasing the size of the outer shape dimension of the plastic molded product and damaging embossed shapes.
CONSTITUTION: A mold 10 is formed so that the angle α2 of inclination of the surface reaching the upper part of a taper part 13 from a parting part 15 is made far smaller than the conventional angle α1 of inclination (α2<α1). A first cooling passage 11 is arranged to the position near to a resin passage as compared with a second cooling passage 12. At the time of demolding, cooling water is sent into the first and second cooling passages 11, 12 to cool the mold 10. At this time, the vicinity of the parting part 15 is largely deformed in the direction shown by an arrow (b) by the temp. difference between the fixed mold and a movable mold when a plastic resin is shrunk. Therefore, even when the angle α2 in the drawing-out direction of the product is made small, a resin molded product can be taken out of the fixed mold 10 without damaging the embossed shapes on the surface of the molded product.
