To attach a plastic nut to members having different thickness.
This plastic nut can be inserted into a penetraion together with a nut member having receiving hole for a screw and is provided with a flange for contact with one side of the member and a snap-on-hook for contact with the other side of the member. The snap-on-hook fixes the plastic nut to the member. In this case, the snap-on-hook is constituted in such a way that size in the radial direction at a loosening position agrees with inside diameter of the penetration and it covers the screw receiving hole when inserting a screw, is put in a widened condition, and is positioned for the member. A wall extending in the direction of expansion of the snap-on-hook is arranged adjacent to the snap-on-hook. The wall is extended from the flange to the nut member and has a thin-walled part. The thin-walled part is extended in a central part of the wall in the direction of expansion. The flange and the snap-on-hook come into contact with the member on both sides by bending the wall in the thin-walled part when tightening the screw.
