Abstract:
To provide a plastic optical component that is very small in the changes of the optical characteristics of a refractive index or the like, even if receiving moisture influence existing in an environment, and having excellent moistureproof performance in addition to superior characteristics, such as lightweight, low cost and mass production suitability.
The plastic optical component forms an organic-inorganic hybrid layer obtained from a sol-gel method as a moistureproof film on at least an open air contact face.
