Abstract:

To obtain a plastic spectacle lens capable of shielding light in the near infrared ray range at a high rate and excellent in eye protecting function.

A Cu ion-base ionic metallic component is dispersed by 1.0-50 parts by mass in 100 parts by mass of a copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing a monomer mixture of 2-60 mass % of phosphoric acid group-contg. monomer represented by the formula and 98-40 mass % of monomer copolymerizable with it. A UV absorber is preferably dispersed in the copolymer.
