To provide a plastic spherical body, which has a skin with a uniform thickness on the surface of a spherical core body manufactured by insert molding without using a mechanical insert holding means such as a holding pin manufactured by the insert molding and is suitable as a ball for ground golf and park golf, or the like, and a manufacturing method therefor.

The plastic spherical body is composed of a center core spherical body formed by the insert molding and the skin covering the surface of the core spherical body. The superficial skin is composed of a plurality of discontinuous skins (a) in an arbitrary shape, which are randomly or regularly arranged on the surface of the core spherical body and/or at least one belt-like skin (b), which continuously covers a part of the surface of the core spherical body, and the skin (c) other than the above. The skin (a) and/or the skin (b) and the skin (c) are integrally formed.
