Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a plastic statue core material which is easy to bend into an appropriate shape, has a sufficient strength and can eliminate a possibility of a bent part hanging down by the weight of clad, gypsum or the like.
CONSTITUTION: This plastic statue core material, which is a bendable plastic statue which constitutes the basic shape of a statue and is easy to bend, is provided with a core member 2 consisting of a bendable metallic rod element and a covering member 3 consisting of synthetic resin which covers the whole outer periphery of the core member 2 by means of integral formation with the core member 2. Thick-wall parts 16...16 are formed at a part corresponding to a joint in the foot of the statue or the like. Thin-wall parts 17...17 whose cross section is smaller than the thick-wall parts 16...16 are formed at adjacent parts to the thick-wall parts 16...16. Even after the thick-wall parts 16...16 are bent and clay or the like is attached, it is possible to prevent the thick-wall parts 16...16 from hanging down by the weight of the clay or the like.
