PURPOSE: To adapt a plastic wire for correction to dental treatment or the treatment of plastic surgery and to improve dental technique by mounting the wire to a dentition in an irregular state or to a jawbone.

CONSTITUTION: The heat resistant plastic optical fiber wire is use for moving the teeth or the jawbone in the dental correction and the treatment of the plastic surgery. The wire is U-shaped or V-shaped for the normal correction treatment, inserted to the central groove of a blacket adhered to the surface of the teeth and linked by a stainless steel wire or a ring composed of a high polymer elastic material. The wire is equipped with a shape memory characteristic according to a temperature and the shape of the wire applied out of a mouth is maintained in the mouth. Then the force for correction is generated by the free elasticity. Thus, the wire can be widely used in the dental treatment and the treatment of the plastic surgery and the dental technique can be improved.
