Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic working method in which processing distortion is efficiently applied to a workpiece in a substantially uniform manner, when subjecting the workpiece to plastic working by holding the workpiece between a pair of punches and pressing the punches.SOLUTION: The plastic working method includes the steps of: preparing a molding die 10 which is a molding die 10 constituted of a pair of outer punches 1 and inner punches 2, and in which a plate material 4 is disposed on an end surface of the outer punches 1 and the inner punches 2, and the plate material 4 is fixed on the end surface of the outer punches 1, whereas a site corresponding to the inner punches 2 of the plate material 4 is plastic-deformed and follows movement of the inner punches 2 when the inner punches 2 are relatively moved with respect to the outer punches 1; and plastic-deforming a workpiece S to the sides and also plastic-deforming the site corresponding to the inner punches 2 of the plate material 4 to the sides, by arranging the workpiece S between the pair of inner punches 2 and 2, pressing the pair of inner punches 2 and 2, and forging the workpiece S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
