Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasticizer which has long-term heat resistance and excellent initial tone and compatibility without inhibiting polymerization of a monomer of a thermosetting and/or active energy ray-curable resin and which can be suitably used for an adhesive composition for optical use.SOLUTION: The plasticizer comprises a rosin ester. The rosin ester is a reaction product of rosin and a monohydric alcohol having 1 to 9 carbon atoms and has a Gardner color scale of 1 or less, a glass transition temperature of -15°C or lower, and an esterification degree of 94 wt.% or more, in which a content of an abietic acid type resin acid having a conjugate double bond and no aromatic ring and its ester is less than 10 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
