Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease vol. resistivity, to improve electric conductivity and antistatic properties and to make free coloring possible, by adding a metallocene compd. to a compsn. consisting of a rubber or/and a plastic and a plasticizer.
CONSTITUTION: A plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate, tricresyl phosphate or 2-ethylhexyl adipate is added to a polymer such as styrene-butadiene rubber, PVC, PVAC, a copolymer made of urethane, acrylate, vinylidene chloride etc. Then, 0.01W1.0pt.wt., pref. 0.05W2pts.wt. metallocene compd. of formula IWIX (wherein Cp is pentahaptocyclopentadienyl; Ph is hexahaptophenyl; Benzo-crown- NH is benzo-crown-15-ether 5 having an amino group on the phenyl group) is added to 100pts.wt. plasticizer.
