PURPOSE: To obtain a cell-culture plate effective for preventing the evaporation of water from the medium, easy to transport and handle and capable of growing especially protoplast in desirable state by placing buffer plates around a well.

CONSTITUTION: The objective cell-culture plate is produced by arranging buffer plates 1 around a well 2 to inhibit the free flow of liquid. The distance between the buffer plates is preferably 1-9 mm. The plate is preferably made of a plastic to facilitate the observation of the cells and the forming of the plate.
