Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent effectively a plate camber in the rolling time of the steel plate with one side projection by inhibiting the camber of the steel plate led out from the outlet side by the guide means being provided on the outlet side of a caliber roll.
CONSTITUTION: The guide means 4 to prevent the camber of a steel plate 3 is provided on the outlet side of a caliber roll 1. The guide means 4 has to approach the outlet side of the caliber roll 1 and to have the length of about 2W3m in the rolling direction. By the adoption of this guide means 4 the generation of camber is adequately prevented and a stabilized rolling is enabled.
