Abstract:
To provide a cleaning method and device with low environmental load capable of suppressing ink residual due to cleaning failure and foreign matter adhesion, by executing plate cleaning with water spray as main cleaning means, without executing wiping which causes adhesion of foreign matters, and without using a large amount of cleaning fluid or organic solvent, for removing a non-water soluble ink adhered to a removal relief printing plate, in plate cleaning using a reverse offset printing method, for providing a printed matter with high resolution.SOLUTION: The invention is configured to apply a cleaning fluid to a removal relief printing plate to which a non-water soluble ink used in a reverse offset printing method is adhered, then dissolve, or disperse, or emulsify non-water soluble ink on the removal relief printing plate to the cleaning fluid, then spray water which may include a water soluble organic solvent to the removal relief printing plate for removing the cleaning fluid to which the non-water soluble ink is dissolved or dispersed, or emulsified, then remove the water which may include the water-soluble organic solvent and which is left on the removal relief printing plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
