To provide a plate cylinder which can reduce occurrence of an image position shift by maintaining parallel accuracy between a plate cylinder axis and a rotational axis of pressing means even when the plate cylinder is exchanged when a plurality of plate cylinders are used for one apparatus body, and to provide a printer.
A plate cylinder 9 is detachable for an apparatus body 8, and includes: a first side plate 70; a porous support plate 68 wound with a master 31; a support plate holding member 72 for rotatably supporting the porous support plate 68; an ink roller holding member 67 for holding an ink roller 14; a second side plate 71 which holds porous support plate 68 and the ink roller holding member 67 and is arranged slidably to the first side plate 70; guide members 73a, 73b for guiding when making the second side plate 71 slide to the first side plate 70; moving-amount adjusting means 74 for adjusting a moving amount of the second side plate 71; and a fixing member for fixing the first side plate 70 and the second side plate 71 after adjusting the moving.
