To eliminate the necessity for a worker to enter a container and to increase a plate glass loading space in the container.
A transportation tool 7 comprising a support member 3 with a trapezoidal cross section erected on a base member 1 is placed on a frame 9, and a plurality of plate glass 5 are set up against a pair of slopes of the support member 3 of the transportation tool 7 and fixed. The container 11 is connected to the frame 9, and the floor face of the container 11 is adjusted in height to an upper surface of the frame 9. The transportation tool 7 is slid on the upper surface of the frame 9 and the floor face of the container 11 by a conveying vehicle 15 to push the transportation tool 7 into the container 11 to thereby load the plate glass 5. Plate glass setting-up and fixing work in the container 11 is thereby reduced, and the necessity for the worker to enter the container is eliminated. Further, the transportation tool 7 can be miniaturized, and the loading space for the plate glass 5 in the container 11 can be increased.
