Abstract:

To improve the efficiency and wear resistance of a worm gear by increasing the strength and heat resistance of the worm gear and reduce the weight and the manufacturing cost of the worm gear.

In a plate glass wiping device, particularly for motor vehicles, of the type including a drive and a worm gear unit having a worm, a worm gear 18 with a tooth row part 24 is provided having a gear base 22 with the tooth row part 24 attached to its outer periphery by injection molding.
