Abstract:

To provide a plate having tongue-and-groove joints, without forming a step between neighboring plates even for a swollen floor material.

A plate floor material 1 includes a male tongue part 2 and a female tongue part 3 on the right and left longitudinal parts of the floor material, respectively. The upper part of a male tongue 4 of the male tongue part is provided with an upper inclined face 5 which is inclined toward the male tongue from a front face 1a of the floor material. The lower end of the upper inclined face is provided with a downward inclined face 6 having an inclined face directed downward. The lower end of the downward inclined face and the base of the male tongue are provided with an upper end face 7. The female tongue part is provided with a female tongue 9 formed of an upper projection 10 and a lower projection 11. An upper corner of the upper projection is provided with an upward inclined face 12. The lower end of the upward inclined face is provided with a projection end face 13. The lower end of the upward inclined face of the female tongue part and the lower end of the downward inclined face of the male tongue part have approximately the same height, so that the upward inclined face of the female tongue part and the downward inclined face of the male tongue part come into contact to form a tongue-and-groove joint.
