Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a compact equipment construction avoiding its production cost increase by using existing facilities in regard to a plate-making type printing machine.
SOLUTION: In a printing machine provided with a printing plate exchange means installing a renewed raw plate 18 which recovered an old printing plate from a plate cylinder 4, an image write means 14 is put on a cassette 27 which temporarily houses the raw plate 18 to be installed on the plate cylinder 4 and the old printing plate recovered from the plate cylinder 4, and as a result of this procedure images can be written to the raw plate 18 on the plate cylinder 4 by the image write means 14 when the cassette 27 is at a plate exchange position.
