Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material conveying method capable of transporting not only a ferromagnetic member such as iron sheet but also a conductive plate so far as it has conductivity, regardless of its size from a former process to a next process while sufficiently reducing speed.
SOLUTION: When an aluminum cut piece arrives at a conveyor belt (S6), eddy current generates in the aluminum cut piece by the magnetic field of magnet row (S10). The magnetic field is generated on the aluminum cut piece by the eddy currents (S11), and a decelerating force for reducing a moving speed of the aluminum cut pieces acts by the interaction of this magnetic field and the magnetic field of the magnet row (S12). The aluminum cut piece is attracted to a conveying face of the conveyor belt (S13) in accompany with the decelerating action (S12), and when the moving speed of the aluminum cut piece is reduced to be agreed with a conveying speed of the conveyor belt (S14), the aluminum cut piece is stopped on the conveying face of the conveyor belt (S15), and transferred to a device side of a next process in a loaded state on the conveying face of the conveyor belt (S16).
