To surely separate stacked plate materials, and orderly deliver the plate material after separation to the next process, without exerting an adverse effect such as the generation of noise and dust, and moreover a crack, etc., in the plate material.
The downstream portion 4B of a carrying means 4, for dropping and carrying a plate material group W, thereon plural plate material WA are laminated, is constituted rotatably to a horizontal condition position. A stopper 9 is provided, which is tilted to a carrying direction which is shockedly receiving the plate material group W (dropped and carried to the downstream end part of the downstream portion 4B) to slip the mating plate materials WA, to separate them. Also, an aligning mechanism 13 is provided, which is pressing the plate material group W from the slipped direction received by the tilted stopper 9 in a slipped condition and is making the plate material group W align.
