To provide a plate material stocker in which plate materials such as redundant members are efficiently housed, housing, taking in and out, etc. can be done without applying unreasonable force to the plates and the position of the plates is not shifted when performing the housing, the taking in and out or the like.

This stocker is provided with a frame 30 and a plurality of stages of up and down table members 31 which are freely movable back and forth to an housing position A inside of the frame 30 and an advancing position B outside the frame 30. In the advancing position B of the table member 31, an elevator 32 which is elevated and lowered so as to be stopped at a height where the table member 31 in an arbitrary stage is transferrable and a prescribed height where the metal plate is carried in is provided. By a driving mechanism 33 for moving the table back and forth, the table member 31 is taken in and out on the elevator 32 and in the frame 30. A metal plate fixing means for fixing the metal plate placed on the placing surface of the table member 31 on the elevator 32 to the table member 31 is provided.
