Abstract:
To provide a plate material with a screw hole, capable of achieving an effective locking action while retaining a prescribed plate thickness in a fastening structure of directly forming a female screw on the plate material, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A plate material with a screw hole includes a metallic plate 11, and a friction ring 31 fixed thereto. The plate material 11 has a recess 21 formed from an upper surface to a lower surface side, and a screw hole 23 penetrating from a bottom surface 22 into the lower surface. The friction ring 31 has an annular fixing part 32 fixed to the bottom surface 22, and a friction piece 33 projecting to the inside, and the friction piece 33 is engaged with a male screw so as to lock. The friction piece 33 is fixed by a caulking projection 25 formed on the bottom surface 22. The plate material with a screw hole shaves out the caulking projection 25 in a standing state followed by bending so as to fix the fixing part 32 of the friction ring 31, when forming the recess 21 by counterboring from the upper surface 12 of the planar plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
