Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a plate material for direct drawing type planographic printing high in the density of an image part and generating no stain in a non-image part.
CONSTITUTION: An image receiving layer 3 containing zinc oxide 4, extender pigment 5 consisting of large particle size pigment 5b with an average particle size of 7-10μm and small particle size pigment 5a with an average particle size of 3-5μm and a polymetric binder 6 is provided on a plastic film 2. By this method, a printing master excellent in printing durability, forming a printing image high in image density and generating no background staining can be formed without increasing the number of processes.
