Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a plate-shaped catalyst for denitration having high activity by improving separation resistance and abrasion resistance of catalyst without applying thermal spray of metal to a base material.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a plate-shaped catalyst for denitrifying exhaust gas, wherein catalyst compositions 3 are supported on the surfaces 1a of laths and meshes 1b being through holes of laths of a base material 1 which is prepared by forming laths in a thin metal plate. The catalyst compositions contain one or more oxides of a number of metals such as titanium, molybdenum, vanadium, and tungsten, and sulfuric acid radicals, metal aluminun or non-water-soluble aluminum, and aluminium sulfate is deposited selectively in fine cracking produced at the time of manufacturing of catalyst or in use of calalyst thereby to prevent lowering of strength and at the same time blockade of fine holes of catalyst is restrained to prevent degradation of activity.
