Abstract:
To provide a fastener for fixing a plate tile in place so that it will not be blown away even if high winds of typhoon or the like blow in.
The fastener comprises a flexible resin tube 6 divided into two at its underside and inserted into a locking hole 4 formed in the tile head of the plate tile 3, and an L-shaped holding fitting 7. When the holding fitting 7 is driven into the tube 6 fitted into the locking hole 4, the underside of the tube is enlarged and fixed in the locking hole 4, with the horizontal holding part 7b of the holding fitting 7 pressing and fixing the tile hip side edge of the plate tile 3 laid thereon.
