PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform the position of a plate in a lowermost position and prevent the generation of a flaw by engaging the end part of an engaging means with the descending plate to stop it, and then moving the engaging means so as to release the engaged state with the plate to drop the plate.
SOLUTION: When a plate T is stopped upon reaching a claw 54a of a hook 54, a piston rod 41a of an air cylinder 41 is put in a contracted state, and a stopper 42 ascends. The stopper 42 thereby comes off the hook 54, and the hook 54 is rotated by the own weight of the plate T. The rotation of the hook 54 in this case is action following the descent of the plate T and is nothing but resistance at the time of descending on both sides of the plate T, so that the plate T falls freely while maintaining a horizontal state. At this time, a receiver of a lifter part is in an ascent position so as to receive the plate T in a short fall position. The receiver of the lifter part is then moved down slightly, and a following plate T is loaded.
